The holiday season is here, and while everyone gets into the festive spirit, we know many of our members are still committed to staying active. At Planet Fitness, your fitness journey doesn’t stop and neither does our 24/7 member access.
However, our staffed hours will vary across the Christmas and New Year period so our team can enjoy time with loved ones too. Below are the adjusted staffed hours so you know when our team will be available for sign-ups, assistance, and member support.
24 December: 7:00am – 1:00pm
25 December (Christmas Day): Unstaffed
26 December (Boxing Day): 1:00pm – 6:00pm
31 December (New Year’s Eve): 7:00am – 4:00pm
1 January (New Year’s Day): Unstaffed
Even on unstaffed days, Planet Fitness members can still enjoy full gym access through the Planet Fitness app with a barcode or QR code, or alternatively their physical key tag.
Just place one of these methods on your scanner as pictured above and wait for the doors to open. For specific information on how to enter your club after hours please reach out to your club team.
Whether you’re squeezing in a workout before festivities or starting your resolutions early, we’re here for you around the clock.

This allows our trainers to rest, recharge, and return ready to help you smash your 2026 goals.
Individual clubs may have slight variations or additional updates to their holiday class schedules.
