Build a Stronger Upper Body
Looking to strengthen your shoulders, back and build upper-body muscle? Our new Plate Loaded Shoulder Press, Seated Row and Lat Pulldown Machines are fantastic additions to your strength training routine.
All machines target key muscles in your back, including your lats, while also engaging your biceps, shoulders and core.
The Shoulder Press Machine is a fantastic way to strengthen your shoulders, particularly your deltoids, while also working your triceps and building upper-body strength. The Seated Row focuses on pulling movements that help strengthen your mid-back and support good posture, while the Lat Pulldown targets your lats to help build back strength and improve your pulling power.
Whether you’re working towards your first pull-up or simply looking to add variety to your upper-body workouts, these machines are a great way to build strength and confidence.
How does the Shoulder Press work?
-
Start by selecting a comfortable weight and adjusting the seat so the handles are positioned around shoulder height.
-
Sit with your back firmly against the pad, feet flat on the floor and hands gripping the handles.
-
Push the handles upwards in a controlled movement, extending your arms without locking your elbows, then slowly lower them back to the starting position.
Keep your core engaged, shoulders relaxed and back supported throughout the exercise. Start light, focus on good technique and get ready to give those shoulders a workout.

How does the Seated Row work?
- Start by adding a comfortable weight to the machine and adjusting the seat and chest pad to suit your height.
- Sit with your chest supported against the pad, feet firmly positioned and arms extended towards the handles.
- Pull the handles towards your torso, keeping your elbows close to your body and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position, maintaining control throughout the movement.
Keep your back neutral and avoid using momentum to pull the weight. Start light, focus on good technique and feel those back muscles working.

How does the Lat Pulldown work?
-
Start by selecting a comfortable weight and adjusting the seat and thigh pads to keep yourself securely positioned.
-
Sit tall with your feet flat on the floor and grip the handles above your head.
-
Keeping your chest lifted and core engaged, pull the handles down towards your upper chest while driving your elbows down towards your sides.
-
Slowly return the handles to the starting position, allowing your arms to extend without losing control.
Avoid leaning too far back or swinging your body to move the weight. With controlled movements and consistent training, you’ll be building a stronger back in no time.
